Commissions
Something made only for you
An heirloom reset, a ring for a proposal, a piece that doesn’t exist yet. It starts with a thirty-minute conversation — in the studio or by video
Start a commissionHow a commission works
Four stages. Once you’ve approved the quote and sent the first deposit, your piece takes three to six weeks from design to finish.
We talk
Thirty minutes, in the studio or by video. You describe the idea; we talk through stones, metals and what's realistic for your budget.
No Charge · No obligation
The quote
If you'd like to go ahead, we send a firm quote for the piece. Nothing is charged, and asking for one commits you to nothing .
No commitment
The deposit
Once you approve and send the deposit, we begin the work. The deposit confirms the commission and isn't refundable, so this is the moment to be sure.
The work begins
The design and production
After the deposit, we work together on the design until you are satisfied with it before it moves into production.

Pieces we’ve made
Each of these began as a conversation, and was made for one person.

FAQs
What does a commission cost?
It depends entirely on the materials and the design— the same design in silver and in gold are different pieces. After the consultation you'll get a firm quote for your piece, and nothing is charged until you approve it and send the first deposit.
Is the deposit refundable?
No. The deposit confirms the commission and starts the work — materials are ordered and time is set aside for your piece — so it isn't refundable once it's sent. The consultation and the quote before it costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
What if I don't like the design?
We change it, and keep changing it until you're happy with how your piece is drawn — that's included, however many rounds it takes, and it's the main reason one commission runs to six weeks where another takes three. What can't be undone is the deposit: it confirms the commission and sets the work going, so the moment to be certain is before sending it rather than after.
Can I change the design once we've started?
Yes, within the piece you agreed to. The quote is built on a structure — the metal, the stones, the size and the overall form — and inside that you can keep adjusting until it's right: the proportions, the setting, the finish, the detail. That is included, however many rounds it takes. What needs a new quote is anything that adds to the piece: another stone, a different metal, a larger size. Those change what the piece costs to make, so we'd send you a revised quote to approve first. If you'd rather not go ahead with it, the original quote stands and your piece is made exactly as agreed — nothing is lost. Nothing is ever made at a higher price than what you have approved in writing.
Can you use stones I already own?
Yes, an inherited ring that never gets worn can become a pendant that does. Bring the piece to the consultation, or send photographs beforehand if you'd rather meet by video.
How long does it take?
Three to six weeks from your first deposit to the finished piece, covering the design and the making. Which end of that depends on how many times the design changes along the way and how complex the piece is. Before any of it, the consultation and the quote move at whatever pace suits you. If you have a date to hit, say so at the consultation and we'll tell you honestly whether it's possible.
