Emeralds are delicate stones so make sure to take off your emerald pieces before you exercise, do heavy housework, or any gardening to prevent hard impacts and scratches. Remove the ring when swimming, showering, or using a sauna as sudden temperature shifts and harsh chemicals like chlorine can damage the stone. For cleaning your ring, use a mix of water and a very small amount of a mild dish soap to gently clean the ring and pat dry it with a microfibre cloth.
